💧 Our Find Your Play team have free summer water play and Waka Kori play trailer sessions to burn off some energy in our parks
🧸 our Kāpiti Coast District Libraries bring back our Teddy Bears' picnic, and a special story time from the author of 'Monarchs of Aotearoa'
🏊🏼♀️ Summer SPLASH! is on daily at our pools 1–4.30pm through the school holidays.
And finish off the weekend with a day of FREE fun – Ōtaki Pool's Whānau Fun Day is this Sunday 9am–5pm, followed by FREE SoundSplash 5–7pm for 8–13 year olds.
Note: SoundSplash entry is limited to the first 250 kids – make sure you're there early!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Spinning, Knitting and Crochet (SKC) Evening Group
It’s official! Crochet is back. For those who cannot come during the day, we have a spinning, knitting and crochet group on Tuesday evenings between 7.30 and 9.00pm, 27a Elizabeth Street, Waikanae (across the railway line).
