Improving the environmental aspects of a more liveable local community
Seeking to help improve the environmental aspects of a more liveable local community, our Environmental and Science Team (led by member Peter Buchannan, a Landcare Research scientist) has long excelled in projects in our community.
Today (1 July) marks the formal start of Rotary International's newest cause - protecting the environment - which provides Rotary clubs over time with access to international resources and expertise in tackling environmental challenges, the way we always do – by coming up with projects, and using our connections, while planning for the future.

Dazzling Paws Dog Grooming Orakei Bay Village Remuera
Meet Jeep, the charming Japanese Spitz who considers our grooming chair his personal runway! He's not just a pro at posing for the camera, he's also the sweetest company during breaks. Simply put, he's a delight to have around. Jeep clearly reflects the love he receives from his mum, proving once again that a well-groomed dog is a loved dog. ❤️🐾
