Wedding anniversary celebration in class
Jagdish Singh and Manjeet Kaur have joined Indu's class in the afternoon. They get a taxi to the class and are really enjoying the social interactions they are making with other learners living in Papatoetoe. The class celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary with them, sharing a wonderful cake. Teacher Indu has taught them Zoom - they will be able to share their special day with family living overseas.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
