Are you aged 15-30? MMR vaccine is available now.
Lots of people aged between 15 and 30 years didn’t get fully immunised when they were children. This puts you at risk of catching and spreading measles, which is a serious illness 8 times more contagious than COVID-19.
You can ask your doctor, parent or caregiver if you had two doses of the MMR vaccine as a child.
If you or they don’t know, it’s best to get immunised. It’s safe to have an extra dose of the MMR vaccine.
You can get immunised for FREE at your family doctor or local pharmacy. MMR protects against Measles, Mumps and Rubella.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
