BMX Racing - Have-a-go day on October 31st

Leanne Carter from Manukau Taniwha BMX Club

There is a fantastic new BMX track in Colin Dale Park at 87 Prices Road in Wiri. We'd love to share it with more members of our community.

BMX racing is a great way to get kids into cycling and getting them confident on their bikes. It is a fun sport the whole family can enjoy. We have riders aged from 4yrs to 50yrs+.

If you want to find out more or give it a try, come along to our Have-a-go day on the 31st of October. There's a link for the Facebook event below.

New riders can also come along at 5pm on any Thursday (October to April) to have a go. For more info go to our website www.taniwhabmx.nz....

Please check our Facebook page @taniwhabmx for cancellations.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
