Missing kayaker - Can you help Police?

Neighbourly.co.nz

A kayaker has been missing overnight off Great Barrier Island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf.

Police received a report at 8:55pm last night saying the kayaker had not returned when expected. They found a potential kayak on the rocks, but no sign of the actual kayaker.

Anyone who may have seen a kayaker in the Karaka Bay or Abercrombie, or with any information that may assist the search, is urged to contact the Police Maritime Unit on 0800 102 835 or 105.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
