Do you know where to go?
Throughout August, we'll be posting a video every Wednesday following the journey of a young rangatahi and his father on knowing where to go when you're sick or injured.
We encourage you and your family to go see your family doctor in the first instance when you’re sick. If you’re unsure on where to go, you can ring Healthline (0800 611 116) and talk to a registered nurse for advice.
If you or your family need urgent care and your doctor is closed, your local Accident and Medical (A&M) clinic is there to help. But we also still want to encourage those in our communities who have life threatening illnesses or accidents to come into ED.
