WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!
Surely there are more worthy causes to spend $1 mil on? Maybe spend this money on something more urgently needed
- Housing the homeless
- Feeding the poor
- Heating
- Medical
- Proper public transport
I am absolutely furious that this has even been approved!
If you want the Statue that much, why do you not get your rich buddies to fund this Phil Goff? Or are the local iwi be funding any of this?
We just heard how the Council cannot afford to upgrade certain services, but now they have enough money to waste on a statue?
Makes no sense to me.
