Let’s talk about mental health and addiction services in your community
Kia ora neighbours, come along to our hui to share with us your experiences, views and ideas on helping those and their whānau who experience mental health and addiction issues to get the right support when they want and need it.

We want to hear from the Hauraki (Thames, Coromandel, Hauraki) community, including those who have experienced mental health and/or addiction issues and those who provide support such as whānau, friends and interested other people.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
