Neighbours Day Grants 2018
Waitākere Ranges Local Board is partnering with Community Waitākere for this year's Neighbours Day Aotearoa, 24-25 March.
Applications are now open for small grants to help you celebrate your neighbourhood. These will be awarded for events such as street or park parties, neighbourhood barbecues, picnics, or gatherings.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
