New Zealand Red Cross works in communities across Aotearoa and around the world to help improve the lives of vulnerable people. Whether it’s responding to disasters like the Kaikoura earthquakes and the Edgecumbe flooding, teaching life-saving skills to children, delivering a hot meal, supporting former refugees or providing a lift to hospital, our volunteers and members are doing good things in neighbourhoods around the country and overseas. 'Own Place Runner' option
If you don't think you can raise $1,000, no worries! You can still register to run for Red Cross as an 'own place runner'. Own place runners do not receive their registration for free and you can set your own fundraising target. However, you will still be part of the team, receive one-on-one support from Red Cross and get rewards for reaching milestone targets, like the dry fit T shirt attached when you reach $500!

Carpet inspection needed
Hi
I've just had new carpet laid throughout my house. I'm not happy with the result, as pieces don't match where they should, and in a hallway there are 5 joins where should not have been more than two. The supplier says there's nothing wrong. I would like a professional carpet person to look at it for an independent assessment. Does anyone know of someone who could do this?

Lost blue embossed scarf
Hi Everyone. Just on the off chance someone may have spotted my very pretty scarf/ stole, I am trying Neighbourly as a means to find it. It is a light blue colour with gold bumble bees embossed on top . It may have slipped off my shoulders without me realising. My mobile is 021-817-246 and fingers crossed it may turn up. Thank you.
