New Exhibition at Thames Museum te Whare Taonga o te Kauaeranga
Celebrating Thames - 150 Years a Town. In 1873, after many months of debates, Shortland Town, Grahamstown and Tararu became the Borough of Thames. In photos and memorabilia we are celebrating the town's past and taking a close look at how it was when the Borough's centenary occurred in 1973. The exhibition opening is at 10.30 this coming Saturday, 8th July. Come along and join us for a cuppa and to reminisce about days gone by.
