Could you be a Freedom Camping Ambassador?

Online Content Publisher from Whangarei District Council

Our Responsible Freedom Camping Programme promotes responsible camper behaviour, and we need friendly local faces to be Ambassadors for the district.

As the summer peak season approaches we are expecting a record number of campers to visit Whangarei District for their holidays. We want visitors to feel welcome, and we also want them to respect the local rules! Our Ambassadors interact with campers to offer local advice, answer questions, and explain rules as needed. They can also report issues to Armourguard if enforcement is required. Expenses are covered.

Freedom campers tend to be a mix of locals and foreigners and a range of ages. They're all looking for a nice holiday, and you can be a part of it!

To learn more about our programme and express interest as an Ambassador please get in touch through our webpage (hit "read more" below)
