Please be aware that this restriction level includes a ban on sprinklers and irrigation systems. We are asking Whangārei households to reduce their water use by 20 per cent.
Voluntary measures have reduced water use by around 8 per cent over the last few weeks. It's a great start, but we still need more people to save more water NOW in order to make our reserves last.
