Share your thoughts on a Knowledge Precinct
We're creating a plan for a "Knowledge Precinct", and we want your help if you live, work, play or do anything else in this area.

The knowledge precinct is the latest of the central city areas to have a plan created, following the Waterfront, Hīhīaua, and City Core precinct plans. These plans guide development to shape the character of each area, building on the strengths and themes of each.
The Knowledge Precinct features themes of life-long education, performing arts, wellness, and civic engagement. We think development in the area, especially of a "knowledge hub" at Forum North, can build on that character. What do you think?

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens arenât seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days â the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoâs made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
