Share your thoughts on Freedom Camping
Now that we’re between seasons for freedom campers we are keen to get a snapshot of public opinion on freedom camping in our District.
Want to share your perspective? This survey takes about 5 minutes and can be completed anonymously. We are looking for input from campers, locals and visitors!
The Camping in Public Places bylaw is not due for review until 2022. If the Council proposes to change the bylaw, we will undertake public consultation and there will be an opportunity for the public to make submissions and speak at a hearing at the time.
