Council cadet success celebrated
Council's six cadets graduated from our cadet scheme last week. From left is, Allie Miller, Elizabeth Bradshaw, Samuel Lennon, Nirvanha Wharerau-Ripia, Layton Toi and Jenesay Lubvrica.
The WDC Cadetship Programme forms part of the Mayoral Taskforce for Jobs and was set up by the Mayoral Forum to provide training, development and paid work experience for local young people aged between the ages of 17-24, to give them skills for long term work and sustainable careers.
