Whangārei Central Library Flooring Replacement
The Whangārei Central Library is undergoing a flooring upgrade over the next 3 months, which started on Monday 4 August 2025.
While we will remain open throughout most of the project, the contractors will block off areas of the library. These will be inaccessible to both customers and staff for a few days to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
The library will be closed for one full day on Saturday 23 August 2025.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our library.
We are looking forward to making your future visits more enjoyable in a refreshed environment.
