Avenues community help to plan a safe connection between Shared Paths
đĄ The Kamo Shared Path and Raumanga Shared Path are quite close together - what if they could be connected up? This year we're making safety and layout improvements around Central Avenue and its side-streets to do just that.
We've incorporated local feedback in the plan, which includes dedicated vehicle turning-lanes into First, Second and Third Avenue, slightly narrowed street-entrances, traffic islands to help people cross Central Avenue, and street-lights on existing walkways. đ´
The changes don't just improve the journey for kids, people pushing prams or riding bikes, they'll also make life easier for drivers. More details and a technical drawing available at the link below.

This Wednesday, we're having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcutâs #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharpâwhether itâs on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park.
