While central government is consistently failing to deliver any meaningful policies to support the transition to low-emissions transport and is rather giving in to proponents of an archaic and unsustainable lifestyle, it's refreshing to see that local government is walking the talk. Update: Whangārei residents are now on water restrictions after the council asked everyone to reduce their water use by 20%, just as more Far North towns are restricted to essential water use only. Here are my tips for saving water, what are yours?
