A Choired Taste Social Singing

Brigid from Central Whangarei

A Choired Taste Whangarei has started up again. The director Brigid Sinclair is just back from running workshops for the Rhodes Scholars in Oxford, UK. We are a fabulous group of people who love singing together. World, gospel, folk, trad, pop all sorts. No music theory needed, no auditions, if you think you cant sing, this wonderful community will prove you wrong. So come and try us out. Each Weds at 7pm at the Whangarei Brass Band Hall, Dyer ST.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Rubbish dumping

Paul from Central Whangarei

Can whoever is dumping their rubbish down the bank on Memorial Drive please stop. The Pack and Save bags for life that you're using are probably just as expensive as the council rubbish bags that you can also buy at Pack and Save.
