Parihaka walking tracks - upgrades starting

Online Content Publisher from Whangarei District Council

All three tracks in Whangarei’s award-winning Parihaka Reserve will be upgraded late this summer and into winter.

Whangarei company Plantpro & Sons will improve drainage plus surfaces; install boxed steps; and widen then level the Dobbie, Drummond and Ross tracks one by one starting early February.

Signs will be going up at the entrance to Mair Park to let users know which track is closed and what alternatives there are.
