What's the noise disturbance like? Do you notice it?

Hi neighbours,
We just joined the Neighbourly community and we would like to introduce ourselves…

My name is Paul Brown and I'm the Exceed we fix windows & doors franchise owner for Rodney, Hibiscus coast and surrounding areas.

We offer reliable and guaranteed window & door repairs and we can help you fix:

- Stiff, jamming sliding doors and rollers that are heavy and don't like to slide.
- Windows that swing fully open and cannot be reached to close again.
- Broken window latches, handles.
- Draughty homes where heat escapes from gaps around doors and windows.
- Old locks on windows or doors that stick and jam.

As well as helping you keep your home in good shape by fixing problem doors & windows, we can install retractable insect screens and security doors to keep your home and family safe.

When you book a visit with us, we’ll arrive on time (or phone you if we are unavoidably delayed). Our vans are fully-equipped, so we won’t need to rush off to get parts. We’ll take care in your home, wear protective shoe covers and promise to clean up before we leave. We wear photographic ID and have been security profiled for your peace of mind.

Exceed technicians have been helping New Zealanders enjoy health, safe and secure homes for more than 30 years.

Learn more about our team and services on our website or give us a call on 0800 25 25 00

Cheers,

The Exceed - we fix windows & doors team in Rodney and Hibiscus coast – Paul and Mila

Open Homes: A necessary nightmare

Kylie Klein Nixon Reporter from Homed

So, I spent a weekend hitting the open homes and seeing what it's like to try to buy as a solo person. Folks, it's tough out there... As an older, single person, it's really tough. Take a look at how I found "the churn" and let me know how it compares to your experience.

Hi Auckland,

Would you be put off by a health warning at your favourite swimming spot?

Around 100 popular swimming locations across the country have been slapped with health warnings for the summer season.

Local councils reported long-term poor water quality due to the presence of algal blooms and high concentrations of sediment in popular swimming spots like Lake Rotorua, Waikanae Beach and Paraparaumu Beach. Other sites have had consistently scored so low that local councils have stopped monitoring them and have instead posted long-term warning signs against swimming there.

Swimmers that ignore signs risk gastrointestinal illnesses and respiratory diseases from water made unsafe by farm runoff, sewage contamination and high bacteria counts.

Share your thoughts below and don't forget to type NFP if you don't want your comments featured in the conversations section of your local paper.
