Maungaraki Scouts Mystery Car Run

Christine from Maungaraki

Looking for a great weekend activity?

Maungaraki Richmond Scouts are holding a Mystery Car Run on Sunday 7 April, starting from Benedicts Cafe, Maungaraki Shops, Dowse Drive, Maungaraki at 11:00 am
Benedicts will be open from 8:30am, serving coffee and breakfast.

How does it work?
Register your vehicle - any type car, van, truck, bus, motorcycle; any number of passengers - at Benedicts Cafe between 10 and 11am and receive instructions and a list of questions/puzzles to solve that will eventually lead you to the Secret Destination.
Rally is anticipated to take 1.5 to 2 hours.

Great prizes!
Once you've found the Secret Destination, enjoy some refreshments at our sausage sizzle and bake sale (cash only, no eftpos). After all or most participants have arrived, prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories, not just the first to reach the final destination.

Maungaraki Richmond group are aiming to send 20 scouts to Jamboree in December, which means a lot of fundraising. So challenge your friends to an amusing race and come along on Sunday 7 April for a great time, great food, fun prizes… and to help our scouts go to Jamboree.

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?
