Yummy home made jam fundraiser for sports. $7 or $10 per jar
Hi neighbours! Do you want some jam? Home made yummy jam. Free delivery in the neighbourhood.
We are doing some fundraising for our son Joel's swimming again to help him to compete overseas. Joel has just turned 17, is a multiple national swimming champion for many years. He was his school's Sportsman of the Year at age 13. He went to Aussie a couple of months ago and beat all the Aussies he competed against, in his top 200m butterfly event, and won national titles at his last national competition in New Zealand, so we thought we`d put in some effort and make and sell some jam to help him do it again.
Blackberry Jam. It comes in two sizes with funky lids. Sizes are 350g - $7.00, ( or three for $20) the 500g jar is $10.00. All to go to support Joel's swimming endeavours and its free delivery in the local neighbourhood.
See images below.
To support Joel ( and we`d really like you to, cos we can't eat all the jam), you can contact Dave on 0274 717466 anytime and we can supply you and your family/friends and what size/s you'd like.
There will be other flavours planned, but blackberry is a start. :-) :-)
You can see Joel's two most recent national title wins here 1:09.18-1:11.50 (butterfly lane 5 ) and 1:52.50-1:53.33 (backstroke lane 1) by accessing the YouTube link at https //www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3HVqF0uSvE
🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠
A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?
(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉
The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.
This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.
We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?
