A second tunnel is a key component in Lets Gets Wellington Moving, although progress on that is at a snail's pace.
This week the Green Party came up with a new idea - two new additional tunnels. The Greens would not block the proposed car tunnel but would like to see two more built.
One would be a dedicated walking and cycling tunnel parallel to the existing Mt Victoria car tunnel, the second would be a light rail tunnel in Newtown, near Wellington Zoo.

We are getting a new couch so hoping someone has a use for our current one to avoid taking it to landfill.

The couch has been both a family couch and a flat couch and as a result the foam is has shifted a bit in some places and it also has a few marks.
This is a nice big squishy couch and great for naps! Each piece is separate (5 pieces in total) so you can set it up to fit whatever space you have. There are two corner pieces, 2 straight pieces, and an ottoman.
Some well-placed cushions and blankets would help fill in the gaps to ensure it is comfortable.
The couch would need to be picked up sometime in the next couple of weeks. We are home most days so it doesn't even have to be on a weekend!
I will probably also list elsewhere - for free :)

How to enter:
Email photos and a 200-word or more description of your space to yhg@bauermedia.co.nz with your last name and ‘Resene Colour Home’ in the subject line. Please include your name, home address, email address, daytime phone number, the names of the Resene colours used, and details of when your space was painted. Please credit anyone who assisted you in choosing your colours. The five finalists will each appear in Your Home and Garden, starting from the December issue. Every finalist will receive a $250 Resene voucher and a feature in the magazine, with the winner taking out the Resene Colour Home Awards and $5000 cash. An extended story on the winning home will feature in the June 2021 issue.
We thought this was amazing. What a great way to teach your children the value of saving and getting them to add up the money is a fun way to do some maths. You could try using different bottles and different coins here in NZ.
