There is about 25 lineal metres of Kauri and it is 12" wide and 2" thick. (300mm by 52mm)
The image shows this timber in its machined and polyurethane painted state, over forty years later and untouched since then.
Kauri is perfect for creating custom furniture, panel doors, moulded architraves, skirting, kitchen cabinets etc. No nails, very few holes, this is clean, old timber, milled 150 years ago.
I'm selling the whole lot as one package so please don't ask for small lengths. Kauri has been unobtainable since the 1940's and long lengths like these are very hard to source.

During class, you will be guided through cutting out, prepping pieces to sew, seaming your garment with the overlocker and finishing hems, necklines and other edges. Recommended to choose one of the following styles to make: Sweatshirt, Simple T-Shirt, Leggings, Sweatpants. If unsure of suitable style (or if you have any queries regarding course or course materials please contact the tutor via Tawa College Community Education coordinator.

This is Wellington Living Streets Aotearoa fourth Jane's Walk, in the steps of urbanist Jane Jacob's who argued against motorway destruction of a neighbourhood in New York in the 1960s and won. She believed in the power of the people to help develop and grow public spaces in an organic way.

I had a sense of isolation and loneliness which had been with me from childhood. As an overweight child I went on to be an obese adult.
I suffered from massive anxiety and later on in life with depression. If asked how I was I would reply 'fine', but inside felt dreadful. I recall feeling depressed in my late teens and later had postnatal depression with the births of my children. The amounts I was eating at these times increased and so did my weight - the more I ate, the worse I felt; the worse I felt, the more I ate.
