Kākā chicks fledging soon
Our Bell Rd reserve family of kākā chicks (youtu.be...) will be fledging soon. For 10 days following fledging, they will be very vulnerable as they will spend lots of time on the ground. From 25 January to 20 February: *Please keep your dog on a leash if using Bell Rd-Dorking Rd or Bell Rd-Rolleston St walkways; *Please keep your cat under control and inside at night if you live in the area (e.g., Asquith Tce, Dorking Rd, Heaton Tce, Bell Rd, Bidwell St, Rolleston St)
