Handyman (or woman) wanted

Literacy Aotearoa Wellington

Kia ora,
We are a not-for-profit located in Willis Street, Wellington. We are looking for a handyman to complete a few jobs for us around the office (attach stuff to walls, put a lock on a door etc). I don't think the jobs are complicated but we have neither the skills nor the tools to do them ourselves. If you think you can help and are able to offer not-for-profit friendly pricing we would love to hear from you. Pls call 3852336 and ask for Bridget

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
