The Auckland … View moreKia ora Pōneke, from midday on Wednesday 12 August, Wellington, along with most of New Zealand, will be re-entering Covid-19 Alert Level 2. This will last until midnight on Friday.
It follows the news that in Auckland there are four positive cases of COVID-19 from an unknown source. The Auckland Region will move to Alert Level 3 for the same period.
Here's what we all can do to help:
- Continue or get back to stringent hand hygiene, sneeze and cough into your elbow.
- If you or a family member are unwell please stay at home and contact Healthline or your GP about getting a test.
- Practise physical distancing of two metres wherever possible.
- Consider wearing a mask in public spaces or places where it is hard to physically distance.
