A friend went down to get her new rego from the AA, but upon arrival found they had left the form at home, they thought taking in the soon to be old one, would give the necessary information. That however left a car parked in the Cobham Court Centre without a rego displayed.
You guessed it, along comes a parking warden and a $200 fine was handed out. The AA said it is a regular occurrence.
A nice money pit for the Council (no apparently they hand the money on) - who refused to listen to the explanation, or accept that the vehicle had a current registration.
We have a new stock coming in this week of 200L rain water tanks. Easily fit into your car, and at a cost of $118 per tank. They are available at the Tawa Community Centre during hours of 9.30am - 1pm/2-4.30pm Mon-Fri. Can be paid for by cash, eftpos or online banking.
Lions Christmas Cakes are available at our Saturday Morning Market at Outlet City Car Park. The 1kg real fruit cake is selling at a special market price of $18.50. The proceeds from the sale goes towards local youth activities sponsored by our Charitable Trust.
