But actually a neat and tidy green lawn is a food desert for pollinators, and leaving grass unmown and letting so-called weeds like clover and dandelion flower provides food for bees and helps support biodiversity. The Churton Park Community Association, in conjunction with local list MP Brett Hudson, has arranged a meeting where you can come and tell Greater Wellington Regional Councillors and their transport staff what you believe can be done to improve the situation. The Association sees this as a great opportunity to provide sensible and practical solutions to what have been very frustrating issues around the introduction of new timetables, routes, hubbing and so forth.
