This species of kakahi is the rarer of the two species found in the Wellington Region and have previously only been recorded in the northern end of Lake Wairarapa 🌊 This new find is good news for this species as being present over a wider range of habitats and locations should help with the ongoing survival of their populations.

Easter Monday 22//4/19 many decendants, church members and public celebrant the new panels with over 800 burials discovered [and growing] to be erected in the historical graveyard. WELL DONE all involved.
