Diabetes Wellington - Education Class for Type 2 Diabetes

This one hour talk on self-management is suitable for people who have had Type 2 diabetes for some time and would like a refresher and to be updated on the latest information on how to manage their condition. It is also suitable for people who are newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It will cover topics such as; Latest research and medication available to treat Type 2 diabetes. The latest research and advice on exercise and testing. The difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. This will be done in a friendly supportive environment with a nurse educator from the Hutt Valley DHB. Cost: $5 for members and $10 for non members. All welcome! Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
