Babies are 5 weeks old at the moment, so should be ready to leave their Mum in about 3/4 weeks? I haven't sorted them from male / female as yet, will do shortly & advise the outcome (If I get it right :O ) (There is 7 Chicks in Total - I may keep 1), just thought I'd get ahead and let anyone know who may be interested. Looking at the colouring of the babies, think their going to be more like Dad?? still hard to tell, will be hard to tell how big they will grow being a cross breed. $25 per chick -They have been used to the outdoor environment. Will do a deal for two or more. will put more photos up later of the brood.

Price: $25

Are you coming to central Wellington to do your Christmas shopping in the next few weeks? Would you like to earn a $50 grocery voucher in return for an hour of your time?

We're looking for people to test some documents for us. If you’re keen to help out, you’ll come to our office on Lambton Quay for 1 hour where we'll ask you questions about a document and record your feedback and impressions.

Broadly, we're looking for people who DON’T work in the public sector (eg, a government department). If you live outside of Wellington, even better!

Specifically, we’re interested if you’re any of the following.

1. A home owner who lives on the flat or in areas prone to flooding

2. Younger than 30 and not Pākeha

3. A small-business owner who pays rates

In return for your help, we'll give you a $50 grocery voucher. Imagine what goodies you could add to your Christmas table with that?

If you're interested, reply to this post or contact Melissa on Melissa.Mebus@write.co.nz.

We are currently doing some seabed investigations in Evans Bay – you might have seen the jack-up barge and rig stationed there.

It’s an important part of the investigation work for the proposed Cross Harbour Pipeline, which aims to provide Wellington with an alternative water supply.

Some of the work needs to be done at night and the crew are focused on minimising the level of noise. The barge has also had acoustic curtains fitted to reduce noise levels (not pictured), which have been tested and fit within the District Plan limits. We’ll continue to monitor noise levels.

We apologise for any inconvenience while we are doing these important investigations.

Due to the Wellington Water Omāroro Reservoir project, services that would usually travel via Wallace Street will be diverted via Wright Street from 8 December 2019 until mid-2020. Please expect some delays and diversions to bus services in the area.

Temporary bus stops will be installed on Wright Street which can be accessed from Wallace Street via a walkway.

To ease congestion in the area Route 27 services will not be stopping at Hutchinson Terminus. Route 27 will travel from Vogeltown along Hutchison Road directly onto Wright Street, bypassing the Hutchison Terminus, and vice versa.

The school bus Route 770 afternoon service will be diverted via Adelaide Road, this is consistent with the existing Route 770 morning service.

For more information on the temporary bus stops visit www.metlink.org.nz...
