So to all our crews working on the frontline this winter, every day, in all kinds of weather, thanks for your hard work to keep our three waters flowing, our drinking water, stormwater and wastewater (including hot showers!). Your work is appreciated.

We are so grateful that the team at Te Papa have opened up the Te Marae event space for us, guests will enjoy a private viewing of their exhibition 'Stories from refugees in New Zealand' before dinner.
Tickets are $120 per person, or $900 for a table of 9 guests.
We are aware that a lot of New Zealanders have been significantly affected financially by COVID-19, and though we need to continue to fundraise for our work in helping vulnerable people, we would like to offer anyone who has been affected COVID-19 an opportunity to attend this incredible event.

This issue is packed with good reads and amazing offers from our friends and partners. We take a close look at urban farmer Freeman Farms, and visit an Auckland coastal garden that the owner waited three long decades to create as well as a Dunedin garden where they’ve grown flowers for nearly 50 years. We're still on the hunt for our Houseplant Hero, thanks to our friends at Yates and Kings Plant Barn. Nominations are now open for our 2020 Ryman Healthcare Gardener of the Year too! There’s a feature on walnut growers in NZ, highlights of new roses coming out this year and of course, details on how to get yourself $20 worth of free bulbs from NZ Bulbs.

I'm not super familiar with the different Lululemon styles but these feel not the really thick ones, they are definitely more on the soft side (they are very soft in fact).

This will take Metlink's electric buses to 108 out of 450 buses in the fleet, that is 22% of the fleet. That is high by international standards, outside of China. This will lead to 61 diesel buses being taken off the roads and a 17% drop in carbon emissions and noxious fumes. Congratulations to NZ bus and Tranzurban.
