There were some amazing costumes and we surrounded by a sea of yellow, it definitely brightened everyone's day and it was great to see everyone involved and we were spoilt by Jo with her beautiful Daffodil biscuits for afternoon tea. I built an earlier design - the Core Sound 17 and sailed her for a number of years. That boat had a hard chine - when Graham came up with the clinker ply plans I knew I had to build it. When I was in Auckland I had a double garage and could work under cover. I finished 80% of the build. At that point in time we moved to Wellington - and for the last 4 years I have had no covered space to finish the last 10% of the project (mainly painting the cockpit and putting on the side decks). .
I have all the plans, a full set of sails, both masts and a road trailer.
We are moving soon so for a number of reasons it it time to pass the boat to someone else. You could do this as an individual or you might want to have some co-owners to spread the cost. The boat can be sailed singe handed but is happiest with 2 or 4 crew. I will be letting her go for the the cost of materials. I will be available to be a consultant to help on the finishing and rigging.

Rush took the action as seven councillors sung a short waiata after a move from councillor Jill Day to request a vote on establishing iwi seats on council committees.
He objected to the proposed amendment because it fell outside the scope of the council paper, which is aimed at reviewing the electoral system for the next two elections.
