Have your say on amending the Fire Prevention Bylaw
The Government recently made legislative changes to how fire safety rules work and Fire and Emergency NZ is now responsible for fire safety. This includes setting fire bans and issuing fire permits which makes much of our current Fire Prevention Bylaw obsolete, so we're proposing to create a new bylaw to manage the nuisance that can come from fires and smoke.
