On Sunday I held an open home for my property which I hope to rent out in Island Bay. There was a young couple, Amy and Sam (also known as Bob/Bobby) who were keen to apply. I told them to email me through their application form, but have since learned that my email is playing up and messages aren't getting through. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
