Have you heard Steven Joyce's final speech?

Georgia Reporter from Stuff

National's "Minister for Everything" fought back tears during his final sign off to Parliament. While speaking about his autistic son, his voice cracked and he had to pause. It was a moment that reduced his fellow MPs to total silence. What did you think of his final goodbye?

The aim of this project is to show how world War 1 impacted the Hataitai Community.
A laminated A4 sheet would be placed on the fence or mail box of those houses who had people serving overseas . The poster would give their names and a brief description of their service.
People could walk around the streets and see just how many people from this small area went overseas in this war.
I need permission from those of you who now occupy thses houses to do this.
I will be giving street numbers over the next week. If your address is here could you email me to give a yes or no to taking part.
If anyone is interested in helping with this project in any caoacity I would love to hear from you.

Most of the weatherboard has gone to build compost boxes, garden sheds etc. Unfortunately the person who picked it up doesn't have a fireplace yet. He says that lots of the rest can be used as firewood or lightening a fire. Lots of small pieces, so no trailer needed, fits in a car. Pick-up is in Lyall Bay. Come over and pick what you need. Rest will go to landfill.
