"Those with delicate sensibilities look away and stop reading now. For the rest of you, this is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Two black swans/kakīānau (Cygnus atratus) were doing their whole love dance that they do, with the twining necks and head bobbing (I have much nicer photos than this one - but this is the funny one), they finished with some post-coital celebratory honking. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a male greylag goose zoomed in and starting joining in with his own loud honking, while swimming around the loving couple - it quite put the poor old male swan off his stride. He wound up nipping the goose on the bottom to get him to go away - it quite ruined the mood."

We run a couple of groups each term, in various areas of Wellington.
The groups are a safe, fully inclusive space to chat all things mum and beyond. We focus on the mother rather than the child in this space to support the woman behind their wonderful child/ren.
We currently have a few spaces available in the following groups, we would love for as many mums as possible to be able to attend one of our groups.
Our Northland Group is being run during the day and we provide free childcare for those that attend.
Location: St Anne's Church, Northland
Time and dates: 10am-12pm, Tues 9 Aug - Tues 13 Sept
Our CDB group is being run in the evening which will be helpful to those who find daytimes a struggle.
Location: Thistle Hall - Cuba Street
Time and Dates: 5.45pm-7.45pm, Thurs 11 August - Thurs 15 September
