Garden Open Day
34 St Johns Tce, Tawa 10.30 - 3.30pm
Entry by donation please.
Its a bit of a grey Sunday morning so a walk amongst the flowers is just what you need to brighten things up. It is also a perfect day for taking photographs of beautiful flowers. Dewdrops on the dahlias? There is so much to see at the moment so you are very welcome to visit and share the garden with us. This is our last open day until later in the year as we need to get busy bulb planting for our Spring displays. Hope to see you soon. Carolyn.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
