The sprung buffer arms and rollers ensure the paper tape was under a constant gentle tension. I added the brass/aluminium platters to handle 16mm film and magnetic film, although I never finished the magnetic recorder I had in mind. The platters run on 1/2" shafts and good quality bearings. - Police were notified of the packages at 1.40pm and 1.50pm respectively.
- Cordons are in place and nearby schools have been placed into lockdown as a precautionary measure.
- Queen Margaret College posted on Facebook that they were in lockdown at the request of police.
