Drive slower in school zones please!!!

Nicola from Johnsonville

To the lady who almost knocked down my daughter today outside the kindy on Kipling Street ... please drive slower in school zones!!! And keep your abusive words to yourself!!

Yes I know she was in the wrong darting across the street like that, but for goodness sake, don't shout out, "You stupid little girl, don't you dare do that again!!" Yes I have tried to instill road safety in my children, but we've all seen kids dart out without thinking. She didn't see you behind the parked cars, and you were travelling WAY too fast next to a kindy and school entrance! I apologised to you profusely and you still just shouted back. A little care would have been lovely!
Rant over.

Stamps wanted

Marty from Johnsonville

I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
