Did you know Vinnies Op Shops are the main funder of Vinnies Welfare and Support Services?

πŸ’™ Sales generated from your donations provide services such as social work, supported employment for people with intellectual disabilities and a choice-based food bank.

πŸ’™ Furniture and clothing donated to our op shops are distributed to families and individuals moving into stable housing or to provide necessities such as clothing, bedding and heaters to get through the winter months. Over $45,000.00 worth of goods were given out for no cost in the last year.

Poll: Have you kept trinkets from your life?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Many of us are sentimental about our childhoods and lives, and some even collect things to remember moments or people.

Share what you've held on to over the years and whether you still have it today. Feel free to share photos too, we'd love to see.

Deirdre’s Cheese Puffs

Rita Angus Retirement Village

Deirdre loves cooking and enjoys teaching kids about food - something she does three times at week at the Busy Bees Kindergarten in Havelock North. We spoke to her while she whipped up a batch of cheese puffs in her townhouse at James Wattie Village.

Watch her journey of teaching, retirement and still working. Plus, we’ve included the recipe to her cheese puffs which were gobbled up by our camera crew because they’re delicious!

Click read more for the full recipe.
