That's why we asked Quotable Value's general manager David Nagel to join us for a live Q&A to help answer your property questions.
We had a huge response, so if you sent in a question or dropped in for the chat, thank you. If you missed it, you can still check out the recap, here.

You may - or may not - be aware that Wellington City Council is unilaterally intending to create five bike lane areas around Wellington with no public consultation. The full council voted to push this through (not unanimously) on May 7th. These proposals are being labelled "temporary" and WCC statements are that they in response to making cycling safer under the coronavirus pandemic. The council has asked for comments / submissions back to WCC by May 28 (Thursday next week before Queens Birthday). Please find attached the Brooklyn Road proposal. The Brooklyn Road proposal is estimated to cost approximately $120,000 alone of ratepayers and general taxpayers money. GBRAI have discussed this at an Executive committee level and there are a variety of opinions against and for the current proposal. Doubtless reflecting differing views in the community as well. That said, we urge you to make a submission - whatever your position on this proposal. This will have major implications on traffic and cycling if/when it goes ahead and we want as much of the community heard.

Our van drivers have been working hard to complete pick-ups of all the generous donations from the community, plus get rid of rubbish to keep our staff, volunteers safe while in the shops.
We're currently low on volunteers to support the workload because of health complications and some uncertainties about getting out after lockdown.
If you or someone you know could help us out tomorrow, please get in touch!
