The results of your generosity can be seen in the accompanying photo of the Food Bank's storage shelves which are now looking pretty healthy!
The Food Bank's services have been in heavy demand in recent months and this demand can now be met with good confidence for the next period.
We will be holding our next major collection in early November, but remember that the Food Bank always welcomes your donations at any time of the year, and they can be left in the labelled bin at the Karori Community Centre.

It's no fun traipsing along streets and roads - especially in bad weather - looking for a property. It must be a nightmare for the emergency services as well.
YOU know where you live; you may also know where number XY or Z are on a busy shopping street. But please don't assume everybody else does.
This is most important for the emergency services who are often called out at night.
It's a small, but important, thing. It's not difficult.
