With torrential rain and flooding caused by an 'atmospheric river', should this event convince us all that climate change is real and we need to be taking action?

" Hi all, Just wanted to offer an update on our current works in the Brooklyn area: Harrison Street is on course to be completed by the end of this week, though there’s still a chance we may need a day next week to complete reinstatement of the footpaths.
Brooklyn Intersection work will continue from Thursday. The corners outside Two Todman and Salty Pidgeon have been completed, so we will now focus on the corner outside Unichem where we’ll be replacing kerb and channel and upgrading the pedestrian crossings, similar to our work on the previous two corners. We’ll then move across the road and do the same to the corner outside the former Wish Skin Spa building. We’ll hopefully need about 2 weeks for each corner.
This afternoon we have deployed some VMS boards that will advise motorists of probable delays. We will be implementing a 4-way stop/go operation around the intersection with some lane closure to keep our crew and the public safe. This will result in some car parks being removed though we’ll do our best to keep this to a minimum. We will also have to close whichever pedestrian crossing we are working on but will endeavour to have them accessible when possible. Please be aware this won’t always be possible for safety reasons.
I will also try and keep you better updated for the rest of the project than we have been able to up to now. Thanks for your patience over the last few months and hopefully we can be out of your way sooner rather than later.
Thanks, Michael “Chewy” Chew | Programme and Delivery Manager | Fulton Hogan Ltd

Feldenkrais lessons use movement and thinking (not stretching and strengthening) to bring attention to, and change, your movement patterns. Release the tense habits which interfere with comfortable, efficient movement.
