Poll: Do we need Kmart open from 8am to midnight, seven days a week?

Ian Allen Reporter from Marlborough Express

Hi Neighbours, not long now until Blenheim gets its very own Kmart. I can only imagine what the queues will be like on the first day. But what do you think of their opening hours, 8am to midnight? Feel free to comment too, but include NFP if you don't want it used in print.

Now’s a good time to get the clippers out and prune back any branches or vegetation overhanging the footpaths from your property.

This is required to keep footpaths safe and accessible for everyone, be it the postie, someone with a guide dog or a push chair.

If you rent the property, check with the property manager or owner on who is responsible.

Footpath and overhanging vegetation inspections take place in April and May, so your early attention may save you being issued a reminder notice.

Thanks for looking after our footpath users and keeping Marlborough safe, tidy and accessible.
