🐾 More dogs were re-homed
🐕 More dogs were registered
🐶 Fewer complaints were made about dogs and
🚓 Far fewer dogs were sent to the pound
But...
🐺 More infringement notices were issued
🌭 Ten people were disqualified from owning dogs

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
